You may store lots of eBooks on your computer. Now you newly purchase a Google Neuxs 7 tablet. After putting MOBI books onto Nexus 7, you will not be able to read them directly due to the format obstacle. MOBI is the format compatible with Amazon Kindle devices. However, Nexus 7 can not recognize MOBI files directly. To read MOBI on Nexus 7, you will have to convert the format from MOBI to ePub. In this article, I will show you how to read MOBI with N7 step by step.

The built-in reading app of Nexus 7 only supports the eBooks purchased from Google Play, so if you want to read ePub transferred from computer, you will have to download a third party application. Here I recommend Aldiko, which is a totally free application for Android tablets and smartphones to help you read, purchase and manage eBooks. The most important thing is that it can read purchased Google books. Get Aldiko in Google Play>> After downloading and installing Aldiko to N7, tap Files icon, select your eBook folder, tick the eBooks you want to import and tap Import to Aldiko.
